Savannahs favorite game to play is hide & seek....when we first started playing this game she would stand in the middle of the room and when you would see her she would say ooooohhh you found me...not much of a challenge...She is getting much better at finding hiding spots but when you get near her she'll say pppppssttt over here. Last night she had the perfect hiding spot if she would have kept quiet...

Our nightly ritual !!!!
For a half an hour before bed every night the kids cuddle up and watch Sponge Bob. I just love it, they wrestle and play most of the day running around like chickens with their heads cut off, so I truly enjoy this time....

well the storm is supposed to get here tonight, they have closed down the schools, the county in three different areas. But of course not the city. Everyone here is going crazy the storm is supposed to last for 2 days, people are acting like its gonna be a month, stocking up on water and toilet paper and can goods...omg....get a grip. Of course when the tornado came through here, i was acting crazy, so i guess erveryone acts different to natural disasters and storms. On tuesday it was 14 degrees with the wind and all... I hope they close the city down tomorrow, i need the day off i feel awful. I dont get sick that often but when i do i do...and i soooooo don't want to be sick right now...
well have a good weekend....

Yesterday we broke a record for the coldest day in Las Cruces. Last time it was this cold was in 1949, and we broke it by 3 degrees.....It is unbareable, I truly don't know how people do it when they live with these kinds of winters every year. I am a California girl and I am not used to this.... I'm dying !!!!

Well tonight is Idol....YEAH I will sitting on my couch all snuggled up with some cocoa (or wine if my day continues to be crappy) lol....Will any of you be joining in...

Twas the month after Christmas, and all through the house
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste
At the holiday parties had gone to my waist.

When I got on the scales there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber).
I'd remember the marvelous meals I'd prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared.

The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese
And the way I'd never said, "No thank you, please."

As I dressed myself in my husband's old shirt
And prepared once again to do battle with dirt.

I said to myself, as I only can
"You can't spend a winter disguised as a man!"
So... away with the last of the sour cream dip,
Get rid of the fruit cake, every cracker and chip.

Every last bit of food that I like must be banished
'Til all the additional ounces have vanished.
I won't have a cookie, not even a lick.
I'll want only to chew on a long celery stick.

I won't have hot biscuits, or corn bread, or pie,
I'll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.
I'm hungry, I'm lonesome, and life is a bore.
But isn't that what January is for?

Well today we were off to the Balloon Rally, they have it every year here,..at like 6 in the morning 50 or so hot air balloons take off,. they have a little carnival type thing, tethered balloon rides, thats what i was looking forward to, it goes up about 50 ft and then back down, but like usual the wind put a stop to everything, it happens almost every year....So we had a day at the park instead, had some lunch, fed the ducks and played at the play ground...









We are now watching the Eagles play, and since my team did not even make it to the playoffs, i am torn between my 2nd fav team San Diego, and my sons favorite the Eagles. As long aas one of those teams are in the Superbowl I'll be happy...
Were gonna have a superbowl party again...I think we end up having one every year...But thats ok at least I know Eric and his friends are there at my house and not having to drive drunk or with someone else that is drunk.

This is what we woke up to the morning....it was great!!! Savannah loved it, we even made her a little ghetto sled to pull her around in....It was funny, we had bought some discs for the snow years ago, but i have no idea where they were, and our once every 5 years snow we dont keep that kind of stuff around.
It was awesome the boys played football and Nannas chased everyone throwing snow at them...Hope it snows again soon.

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years...Mine was good, spent most of the night at the hospital with Savannah, just didnt feel right about her finger and someone that I know told me i should have taken her in immediatly, so i took her in and they said yeah i should have brought her in they could have reconnected the nail and kept the damage of her growth plate from being permanent, but now we just have to wait to see if its going to grow back. so i am just doing what i was doing before to make sure there is no infection and watching it. But the rest of my night was good....sober but good. Everyone else on the other hand was blitzed by the time i got there, i love being sober sometimes and watching drunk people its fun.....Well here are some pics.
